Goldberg isn’t staying silent about who should really be delivering the spear in WWE. In an interview with CBS Sports, the Hall of Famer shared exactly what he told Bron Breakker just last night: “I had the conversation last night with Bron. I told him my feelings on it, that I think, he’s the only human being in WWE that should be doing that (spear). I know I will catch a lot of hell for that, but I don’t care. That’s the truth. It is what it is.”
It’s clear Goldberg still takes pride in the move that made him a monster in WCW and WWE — and he doesn’t want just anybody using it. By giving his blessing only to Bron, he’s putting a huge spotlight on Breakker to carry that legacy forward.
Will WWE listen? Will other stars who use the spear — like Roman Reigns — have something to say about this? One thing’s for sure: Goldberg’s words will get people talking… and Bron Breakker might just be next in line to make the spear feared all over again. Make a title
